Already have an account? Perhaps you should close the loop and report the problem to the developers of the beta drivers. Until you can get atueros known-working drivers for Windows 7, please consider purchasing a network card that is known to work correctly with Windows 7.
Well as much as i would love a card that is compatible with windows 7 it's not really an option to just buy another.

dwa-5447 I guess im about to see. Ok, so i solved the problem i installed an older vista atheros driver since d-link uses this chipset. They are supposed to be tested for problems, and then the problems reported back to the developers. Home Questions Tags Users Unanswered. I just downloaded the original driver and then copy and pasted the inf to the driver-map of the originals. They are running win 7 Ultimate without any problems.
I just found this great forum that probably will help me solve my problem. The problem i had before was that my computer froze from time to time which apperently had to do with the drivers for wlan-card.

Anyhow i changed to drivers today to atheros driver v A couple of weeks ago i started getting my wifi disconnected from time to time, tried everything except changing drivers because i didnt want the freezes to come back.
